Brook Seume, LMFT
Brook is a graduate of Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has in-depth expertise in sexual offense assessment, treatment, and risk management. Brook brings a systems-level perspective to sexual abuse prevention, helping organizations develop policies and practices that better protect those they serve.

Carolyn Pierre, LCSW
Carolyn graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in Legal Studies and Social Welfare and an MSW with an emphasis on clinical and forensic social work. She has served in direct practice and administrative roles in mental health and sexual abuse prevention since 2008, with extensive experience in program and policy development.

AdvisorCharol Shakeshaft, Ph.D.
Dr. Shakeshaft has her doctorate in educational leadership and social science methods and an M.A. in organizational theory from Texas A&M University. She is the author of four books and more than 200 cited articles and papers, including Organizational Betrayal: How Schools Enable Employee Sexual Misconduct and How to Stop It. Dr. Shakeshaft researched Prevention of Educator Sexual Misconduct, funded for $1.2 million by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
